So, I am a long-time teacher and now I'm working at uLethbridge as an associate professor of educational psychology and inclusion.

I've taught in grades throughout elementary and middle school, but most of my time was in grades four and five—go Terry Fox Titans! I also taught in a specialized room for students with autism spectrum disorder.

What I love most about this work is that I get to talk to teachers all the time about their programs and their inclusive practices. I do research on play, inclusive teaching, and the learning brain.

My life experience has given me a passion for inclusion. I taught English as a foreign language in South Korea. I also raised two children (now in university). I work as a teacher (Social Studies, Options) in southern Alberta.
